Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan have teamed up after a long time on screen with "Udta Punjab", but the former couple doesn't seem to be keen on pairing up against each other.
- They broke up when they were shooting for "Jab We Met" and after that they never worked with each other.
- Now they have come back on screen together after a very long time for Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab". But interestingly they don't have any scenes together in the film.

- Shahid admitted during the question & answer session that he is going to become a father.When asked about reports about his fatherhood, the actor told reporters, “Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes…haan mein baap banane wala hoon (yes, I am going to become a father).” Kareena on the stage found his reaction amusing.
